New Progressive Degrees Offered: DD, PD, SD. - The Sovereignite Educational Mission

We agree in part with Saint René Descartes University!

Different from Saint René Descartes University we at Bryant University will have in in addition to our traditional degrees such as BS, MS and PhD three new stages of university education, called Progressive degrees, to allow the opening of doors now partially shut or entirely shut to educated people to practice their profession that may now be monopolized. To also allow some time to pass giving other Institutions time to study and adopt these same degree types. Further to allow our graduates all the opportunities they are entitled to.

The three stages we are introducing to our interested people are as follows:



                                                   Diplomate's Degree - DD
                                                   Professional's Degree - PD
                                                   Scholar's Degree - SD



For the various kinds of degrees, we will not have degrees like a "diplomate of arts" or a "diplomate of science".
In other words, Bryant University will issue a DD in place of a BA/BS Degree, or a PD in place of an MA/MS Degree, or an SD in place of a PhD, MD or other Doctorate Degree at the request of the graduate. The graduate may request the same degree earned as a Traditional and a Progressive degree (at a nominal fee). Under this new system the requirements for graduation will remain basically the same.

We also hope to help our graduates that might or will be living and working or studying in Europe. To also support the ideas put forth at the Lisbon Recognition Convention.

Likewise this is being done to give the opportunity to anyone that needs to advertise themselves, their services or their business and traditionally they would use Doctor or other similar title which might cause them problems such as being charged with practicing medicine or law without a license. Using Scholar and not Doctor might be in their best interest.

All health related degrees such as All Nature Nursing, Physical Therapy and Nutritional Sciences only are offered as a Progressive Degree. They are never offered as a BS, MS or PhD.
